Old Chinese cast iron incense burner from Inner Mongolia made in the 1970s hence an uncommon item to find around. Copies of similar items have dwindled significantly over the years. Approx. dimensions 4" H. Approx. weight: 8 lbs. Shaped as a dog or some other four-legged animal. The head of the animal flips forward so that incense can be placed inside. It has an interesting old patina throughout. Patina varies from item to item as does the design. No two items are exactly alike.
